Filling a Container with Hope for Kenya

For the past four weeks, the Maryam Library Foundation has been on a mission: Project Kenya 40. Our goal? To collect, sort, and pack 40,000 books into a single container, transforming it into a literary ark bound for Kenyan shores. Each book, carefully chosen and lovingly placed, is a brick in the foundation of 40 new libraries, 40 havens where young minds can soar.

But this isn't a solo endeavor. Up to 20 volunteers, each with a heart as vast as the Kenyan savannah, have been working tirelessly in shifts. They've lifted boxes, taped seams, and sorted stories, their dedication a testament to the power of collective action. They've seen the faces of the children these books will reach, felt the ripple effect of knowledge and opportunity.
