A mere two months ago, the Kenya 40 Libraries project was an ambitious dream – a vision of 40 libraries rising across Kenya, empowering communities through the transformative power of books. Over the past eight weeks, our team of over 20 volunteers has poured their hearts and souls into the project, transforming a room brimming with potential into a sea of neatly packed boxes, each one a vessel carrying the promise of knowledge and opportunity. From the initial days of collecting and sorting books, to the meticulous process of packaging and boxing them for shipment, our volunteers have approached every task with unwavering enthusiasm and an infectious spirit of camaraderie.

We remember the Day 1 jitters, the unfamiliarity of the mammoth undertaking before us. Yet, fueled by a shared passion for making a difference, our volunteers dove headfirst into the project, their laughter echoing through the room as they tackled mountains of books with unwavering efficiency.
