Aahil Shaikh, a junior at Dublin High School in California, is a dedicated individual with a rich background in various activities. With over 10 years of experience in swimming, Aahil not only excels in the sport but also shares his expertise by teaching swimming to children, showcasing his leadership and communication skills.
Engaging in afterschool activities, Aahil has been actively involved in tennis, basketball, and taekwondo, displaying a passion for sports and a commitment to personal fitness and discipline.
Since 2017, Aahil has been dedicated to the practice of taekwondo, showcasing discipline and perseverance. His journey in martial arts reflects a commitment to personal development and physical fitness.
Aahil's musical journey is equally impressive, having played piano from 2013 to 2019, showcasing his dedication to mastering an instrument. His recent venture into percussion from 2021 to the present adds another layer to his artistic pursuits, demonstrating a continuous interest in exploring and developing his musical talents.
These diverse interests, spanning sports and the arts, underscore Aahil's well-rounded character. As he navigates his junior year and looks towards the future, Aahil's multifaceted skills, dedication to excellence, and passion for both athletic and artistic pursuits make him a compelling candidate for future academic and extracurricular endeavors.

Inspired by the goal of building libraries in Asia and Africa, similar to the efforts of others, he aims to reach out to various library staff within the Bay Area. His current vision is to collect books and support initiatives that contribute to literacy, education, and community development on a global scale.
